Simple Tomato and Pea pasta

Now that it’s cool I try and have a warm lunch with Connor  most days. He so busy now that he is walking so I try and give him a big feed to fill him up before his afternoon sleep.

This simple dish is great for lunches, it’s so quick to make and it has pasta so it’s always a hit in our house.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of cream cheese

1 tablespoon tomato paste

Sprinkle of steak seasoning (optional)

Pasta (I used macaroni because I had some)

1/2 – 1 cup of frozen peas.

Let’s cook:

  1. Place pasta and peas in a pot, boil until pasta is cooked.
  2. In a small bowl mix cream cheese, spice and tomato paste until well combined.
  3. Drain pasta and peas, return to pot and add sauce. Dish up and enjoy

Did your kids enjoy it as much as Connor? Did you add anything else? I love playing around with different flavours.
